Freedom of Speech

My artwork takes a critical view of social, political and cultural issues. I’ve applied the simbolic of nature to visualized freedom and justice in my artwork. I wasn’t planned about the theme at the sketching stage but it end up with retro. The soft colour for the backgroud that i had applied giving out the retro-like for my artwork. i used hand drawing style in my artwork because i love hand drawing artwork. It’s simplicity.

The Making

I've used Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Intuos Wacom tablet to design this artwork.With these tools,i have applied hand-drawing style in my project.

I created new file size 10x10 inches. 

Using brush tool i sketched the human face.

Finish painting the face.

Done the this part.

Using this coloured vector image i took from the internet, i cropped them and put it in the first image. 

The symbols is created using the text tool.

  

I've applied the background colour with the soft look making out the retro theme of this artwork.

Adjust the brightness and saturation make it a bit greenish. And this is it.
